Why Volunteer with WIFS?

✔ Expand your professional network
✔ Develop leadership skills
✔ Give back to the profession
✔ Gain board and committee experience
✔ Help shape the future of WIFS

WIFS is powered by dedicated volunteers who are passionate about advancing women in the insurance and financial services profession. Serving on a committee is one of the best ways to build meaningful relationships, develop leadership skills, contribute your expertise, and help shape the future of our organization.

Whether you're looking to expand your professional network, share your knowledge, gain volunteer experience, or explore future leadership opportunities, there is a place for you to get involved.

Most committees meet virtually once per month for approximately one hour and work collaboratively throughout the year to support WIFS programs, initiatives, and member experiences.

Committee participation is also an excellent pathway for members interested in future chapter leadership, national volunteer opportunities, and service on the WIFS National Board.

We invite you to explore the committees below and select the area that best aligns with your interests, experience, and professional goals.
