National Committee members come from around the country. Some are chapter members, some are members-at-large. Some are experienced; some are new to the career. Together with the National Board, committees help to craft and implement current and future WIFS initiatives.
Most committees meet once a month via conference call. Committee members rave about their experience and the opportunity to participate on the national level. Ask a National Board or Staff member how you can get involved, or email

2011 Standing Committees:
- Conference – The National Conference committee works to choose exciting speakers, plan event details, and develop the top-notch Conference program that WIFS is known for.
- Membership – The membership committee is tasked with responding to WIFS members' needs, whether they are members of a chapter or members-at-large. The committee develops programs for retaining and growing the WIFS membership.
- Corporate Supporters – The Corporate Supporters committee secures Corporate Partners as well as conference exhibitors and sponsors.
- Education – This committee is charged with developing the slate of webinars for the year, as well as any other educational programs that are on the schedule. The committee works with the Conference committee on developing Conference sessions that fit with the annual education program.
- Public Relations/Marketing – The PR/Marketing committee partners with many other committees on promoting WIFS and its programs and events.
- Finance – This committee is lead by the National Treasurer and provides checks and balances on the Association's finances. The committee reviews WIFS financial policies, assists chapters with financial questions, and develops policy documentation when needed.
