Chapter Grants - Chapter Grant funds of $250 per program year are available from the national organization to each approved, active chapter, to support the mission of WIFS (attract, develop, and advance women in the financial services industries). The National Board encourages chapter leaders to apply for a grant to fund activities such as:  

    • Subsidize chapter membership dues for student level members
    • Purchase and/or maintenance of contact mailing software, e.g. Constant Contact
    • Cover speaker fee for chapter program
    • Defray cost of marketing materials for the chapter, e.g. signage, flyers, banners, giveaways, table covers with WIFS logo
    • Subsidize conference fee and/or travel expenses for chapter member
    • Print advertisements in local industry publications featuring chapter members

To apply for the grant, complete the Chapter Grant Form (available here). Submit the completed form to WIFS Headquarters.

Quarterly Chapter Leaders conference calls are to provide Chapter Leaders with ideas for events, membership, board development, marketing, and any challenges they may be facing. Organized by members of the National Board and Membership Committee, some calls may be presentations on single hot topics, some may be open forums for sharing best practices. Attendance on these calls is invaluable for keeping your chapter's momentum going!

Chapter Leaders Workshops are held each year at the National Conference. These workshops focus on topics that all chapter leaders face- chapter finances, leadership, event planning, marketing, etc. They give chapter leaders the opportunity to connect with one another, and with National leadership. These sessions provide valuable face-to-face support and all chapters should plan to take advantage of the annual workshops.
